On Tuesday 14th February Minister Thomas Byrne and Dr Una May launched the 2023 Sport Ireland Sport Investment Launch at SI Headquarters. President Paul Carroll attended on behalf of the IrWWF. The IrWWF has had an increase of €2,000 for 2023 bringing our Core Grant to €42,000. The IrWWf would like to thank Sport Ireland and Minister Byrne and his Department for this. The attached document gives an overview of the funding.

This year I traveled to two international competitions, both of which happened to be in July. One thing I’ve learnt about growing up, is that time off is hard to come by while being full time employed, even if it is by an airline! It’s not as easy to travel the world when you have limited days off unfortunately.
