1. Irish Slalom League Update

The Irish Slalom League has been an exciting journey so far, with four rounds successfully completed. The competition has been fierce, and we are now approaching the final stretch with only two rounds remaining. The next round is scheduled at our home club from the 5th to the 8th of September, followed by the final round at Golden Falls on the 14th of September. With so much talent on display, we expect the concluding rounds to be as thrilling as ever.

2. Congratulations to the Newlyweds

We are delighted to share the wonderful news that our Irish Champion, Daniel Galvin, and Adrienne Donnelly were married on the 15th of August. The entire waterskiing community sends their heartfelt congratulations to the happy couple. We wish them a lifetime of happiness together.

3. European Representation

Graeme McKibbin proudly represented Ireland on the European stage at the +35 EA Championships, held at Botaski in Sesena, Spain, from the 14th to the 18th of August. Competing against the best in Europe, Graeme demonstrated incredible skill and determination, making Ireland proud. His participation in such a prestigious event highlights the high level of talent within our federation.

4. World +35 Championships

As we look ahead, Sam Burke-Kennedy and Dianne Kirby are now focusing on the World +35 Championships, which will also be held at Botaski, Sesena, Spain, from the 3rd to the 8th of September. This will be a significant event, attracting competitors from all over the world. We extend our best wishes to Sam and Dianne as they prepare to represent Ireland on the world stage. Their dedication and hard work are an inspiration to us all.
