Storm Damage at Meteor WSC
The storms and flooding over the winter caused a lot of damage and our wooden walkway and jetty, all were severely damaged, and to such an extent that they need replacing. Work has been carried out to replace the stationary portion of the walkway with a robust structure. The main posts were replaced, with full size telegraph poles which were driven almost full length into the lake. A 2nd phase to replace the floating portion of the walkway and the jetty head is in the planning stage. The good news is that the club is back up and running.
